SOLD AUGUST 2024 – Traditional Stone Built Farmhouse On C. 0.76 Acre Site With Extensive Range Of Outbuildings For Sale By Online Auction On Wednesday, 14th August At 12 Noon.

Wednesday’s auction saw a fine farmhouse with a broad range of outbuildings come to the market. The property benefits from dual access off the public road and is located in a most sought-after location, close to Gorey, the M11 and a range of coastal amentities.

Jack Quinn of QUINN PROPERTY had guided the property at €180,000 and noted “strong interest from an array of buyer types”. Mr Quinn said that he was kept “extremely busy with viewings” of this property and added that there was “close to ten registered bidders”.

On the day of the auction, bidding opened at €160,000 and quickly continued past €200,000. After reaching €250,000 a break was called to take client instructions and upon the resumption of the auction, the property was declared “on the market”. With no further bids forthcoming, the hammer fell at €250,000 – €70,000 above the guide price.

Speaking after the auction, Mr Quinn remarked his “delighted with yet another successful auction campaign and result”. He added that his clients were “very pleased with the outcome of the auction”.
