SOLD APRIL 2025 – Attractive Four Bedroom Bungalow On C. 0.35 Acre Site In Walking Distance To Beach For Sale By Online Auction On Wednesday, 9th April 2025 At 12 Noon

Today’s auction saw a well-located, four bedroom bungalow come to the market. Auctioneer Jack Quinn described “very strong interest from the first day of viewings” in this property. Mr Quinn added that “the property appealed to a wide range of buyer types but predominantly first time buyers and those seeking a coastal holiday home”.

The property was guided at €200,000 and there were six registered bidders for the auction. Further property details can be viewed here.

On the day of the auction, bidding opened at €150,000 and progressed promptly as far as €200,000. Bidding continued thereafter and upon reaching €220,000 a break was called to take client instructions. The auction resumed with the auctioneer informing all parties that the property had “reached its reserve and was now here to be sold” and further bids were invited. Bidding picked up where it left off and with no shortage of interest in the property, there were a further eight bids before the hammer ultimately fell at €242,000.

Speaking immediately after the auction, the auctioneer commeneted that he was “extremely pleased to have secured such an outstanding result” for his client. He added that his clients were “over the moon with the outcome” and passed on his “best wishes to the new owners”. This was yet another excellent result at auction, where the price achieved was 21% above the guide.
