Valuable C. 24.6 Acre Holding For Sale By Online Auction On Tuesday, 16th July 2024 At 2pm (In 1 Or More Lots)

Today’s auction saw a superb holding extending to almost 25 acres of good quality land come to the market. The land is currently in tillage but would be suitable for most agricultural enterprises.

Auctioneer David Quinn had guided the property at €12,000 per acre in advance of the auction and described “good interest from a range of buyer types”. He added that there was “six bidders registered” prior to the auction.

The land was offered in the following lots:
Lot 1: C. 1 acre
Lot 2: C. 24 acres
Lot 3: The Entire

On the day of the auction, bidding on Lot 1 opened at €10,000 and reached €25,000 after the first rounds of bids. Lot 2 started at €200,000 before reaching €300,000 after early bidding. Lot 3 (The Entire) got as far as €330,000 after the opening rounds of bidding. Further bidding saw Lot 3 move forward to €345,000.

After taking a break for client instructions, Mr Quinn confirmed that neither lot had reached the reserve and invited further offers. With no further offers, the property was withdrawn and negotiations commenced with the highest bidder.
